Factory Certification Training

To become a Unique Fire Stop Products Factory Certified Technician: You must be employed by a company in the cable installation business, firestop contractor, engineer, architect, or wire and cable distributor. We will no longer be able to process tests for trade schools or technical colleges due to the overwhelming volume.

This is a comprehensive training course designed to aid you in information retrieval from our website. Firestopping is a life safety issue not to be taken lightly. If you do "Firestopping by the Numbers" you will ace the TEST. If you don't - probably NOT.

1. Watch our training video (19 minutes).

Computer system requirements for watching the video:

  •  Fast Internet connection (DSL, cable, etc.).
  •  Windows Media Player Windows Media video or any media player that plays Windows Media Video.
  •  If you are having problems watching the streaming video above, you can download the video here. The video is in WMV (Windows Media Video) format.

2. Take our certification test. You must pass with a 100% score to qualify for Certification. We recommend you print out the printable version and take the test using the website as you would an open book test. Most of the answers are to be found on the description page of each product called for in the different scenarios. Be sure to include your employers information to be added to the list of companies with Certified Installers if you want to take advantage of your credentials. Click here to take the test.
