Expanding Foam: Installation Pictorial

 

Limit the use of the foam to openings about 1 inch wide.
Based on the size of the opening, take care to hold the end of the nozzle (and the can upside down) in a position to allow the foam to come to rest as close as possible in the center of the opening.
As the expanding foam expands, it should expand equally on both sides of the opening.
After a 24 hour period, you may come back and trim off the excess and paint the foam.
You should seal the wires cables and hoses with the Automotive FireStopper.
 You should seal the rods and shafts with the Automotive FireStop Sponge.
